Fun Navigation Header

Creating a header for an amusement park site

Start by creating a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.

Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp. Adjust nodes to get the shape as shown.
Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.
Using pen tool create a shape as shown.
Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip horizontal. Place on the other side.
Duplicate the initial shape layer. Move this layer above all the layers in layer order in layer palette. Fill it with gray color.
Create a flower 2 shape using custom shape tool.
Enable subtract form shape area form the top bar.
Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.
Select the black ellipse layer. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Apply the same layer style to all other layers.
Create a small circle using elliptical shape tool. Apply the same layer style.
Create several duplicates and place as shown.
Create an elliptical path using elliptical shape tool in path mode.
Using text tool click on this path and type the button links.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Insert company logo and place as shown.
Duplicate all layers and press Ctrl+E to merge. Enable lock transparent pixels from layer palette. Fill it with black color.
Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select distort. Adjust nodes to create a perspective shadow. Reduce the opacity to 50%.

Medical Site Navigation Header

Creating a navigation header for a medical site
Start by creating a new file of the header size. Create a shape as shown using pen tool.
Enable subtract form shape area form the top bar.
Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Duplicate the layer several times and place as shown.
Create some horizontal lines using line tool.
Change the layer mode to overlay.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Change the layer mode to overlay.
Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Duplicate the ellipse layer and place as shown.
Type link names over the button.
Insert company logo and place on the left of the header.

Scenery in a Frame Logo

Creating a logo with scenery in a frame
Start by creating a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Create some rectangles as shown in the image below.
Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.
Enable subtract form shape area form the top bar.
Create two rectangle using rectangular shape tool as shown.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Similarly create other shapes to create a valley scene.
Create a circle for the sun using elliptical shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Create a few shapes as shown using pen tool. Fill with black color.
Create a few birds using custom shape tool. Fill with black color.
Except all the black layers select and merge other layers. From filter menu select noise>>add noise. Apply settings as shown.
Select and merge all the black layers. Change the layer mode to dissolve.
Type the company name and place it below the scenery logo.
